My writing goals yesterday and today!

Join the Group!

My ultimate writing goals, and have they changed over time. (If at all)?

Since 2009 to beyond 2018, my dearest goals are becoming, now looking forward to 2019.
Most projects are set-up; I just update with my written words, videos, drawings, and photo images! And link together for others to travel around the vast web as my Faery Rhyonna, who sits on her Dandelion watching and listening.

Still, need a hardcover for Rhyonna's Fright for bookstores in IngramSparks by DECEMBER 2018. Granddaughter is correcting the last edit.

For April's NANOWRICAMP, this year did DRAWN LINES - how-to-use LINE in art. Made a small hand-held book with lessons including types of lines, textures, and composition. Put on wattpad.com and April A2Z Challenge. Next to apply and teach DRAWN LINES at the Frank Bette Museum.

Art shows at DareDevils and Queens in Santa Rosa last February; Frank Bette Museum has three pieces displayed in Alameda; and at Free up Oakland, I am the artist-in-Residence show September 9, 2018.

For the July NaNoWriCamp — editing words 30,000 — to finished 10 stories about Hindi god Vishnu.

Keeping my blogs updated with my activities:
*writing blog, BlobBlobandBlogging.com included on my Amazon page and Goodreads;
*storytelling blog, TheStoryReam.com, A2Z challenges go to Amazon page and Google;
*art blog, bobbieportfolio.com hosts the DRAWN LINES lessons;

Are book titles or character names the hardest?

Character's name seem to change more than titles.

When writing about the character, name changing creates a huge problem for the story. That means going back to update the character in the different draft for each book. What a nightmare! Even if I do character's sketches before hand, as soon as that character goes on paper into word from, name changes. As my Queen for the Elfin Village, when she came to marry Jack her name was Fonia Fae, opps, the Emma Fae, opps --> movie characters were made faster then my tales could spin. Finally now, Irenia Kyra is the Queen's name, which the Elfin Queen seems to like. The spelling sometimes gets into a different version so I am always checking. The checking keeps the novels moving along and in a consistant dialogue with the writer because I work for years.

Do I write more in Spring?

It’s spring! Does this season inspire you to write more than others, or not?

No, spring is when the pots are replanted with nurturing dirt sorting out the weeds, separating and replanting the stuffed plants into mulches for growth in the summer months and long into autumn.

Spring is digging in the dirt rechannels the electricity we need to be creative humans. Spring is a time to walk in the earth barefooted, look at the beauty of plants, love songs of birds, the dance of the squirrels, and the fragrances of invites, the buzzing of insects.

Spring is here for inspiration and renewal of souls and growth.

How do I keep on writing in my rain storm?

insecure writers support group

When it is pouring rain and melting my papers and blurring my penned words  --> I cry!  Look out of my eyes, wait and wait, sleep, or walk, work in my garden, pet my cats. Really - CRY! SOB! SCREAM!  These help!

Or, I might organize the papers and the stuff around my computer and on the desk, or find where I am on other project, chose one, and start there. Then after a while when the rain stops, start the writing.

Thunder storms from my family, either wanting something or to check on me when I'm consumed by my project is turmoil. The noise, or the distress from my head spreads and causes wonder, even friends text. I ignor everyone and continue to cry --> I can talk to them later.

How do I celebrate when I achieve a writing goal?

Read the IWSG blogs.
Celebrating a Completed Goal

I yell, shout, dance, cry and post in all the places I can post. A written stream into the vast reaches of the web yelling out my success to shake the noise of this and that buzzing around. What is a story anyway but a long string of words reaching out to meet someone. The problem is the words get tangle in the light and music of all the rest and my celebration last only seconds.
